Chopard’s Latest Red Carpet Collection Turns To Everyday Inspiration

Chopard has unveiled its Red Carpet Collection 2026 at the Cannes Film Festival, continuing a tradition that has become a fixed part of the Croisette over the past two decades.

Created by Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director of the Maison, the annual launch brings Haute Joaillerie directly into one of cinema’s most visible stages, where film and jewellery sit side by side.

As an official partner of Cannes, Chopard uses the collection to underline the connection between storytelling and craftsmanship. The idea is not just to present high jewellery, but to place it in a setting where emotion, image and detail all matter in equal measure.

For 2026, the theme is “Miracles”, but the focus is firmly on the everyday rather than the extraordinary. Scheufele draws attention to small, often overlooked moments: changing skies, shifting cloud shapes, unexpected colour in a flower, or the movement of an animal.

Even gemstones are part of this thinking, viewed as natural formations shaped over millions of years.

Visually, lightness, movement and colour define the collection. Designs draw on sky tones and natural forms without becoming literal interpretations. A standout necklace in ethical white gold features an 88-carat Royal Blue sapphire, surrounded by cascading sapphires, aquamarines and diamonds that suggest fluid movement.

A phoenix brooch in rose gold and titanium introduces a stronger symbolic note, using emeralds and multicoloured sapphires to reflect ideas of renewal.

Other pieces continue this focus on movement. A carp-inspired brooch in white gold and titanium uses diamonds and sapphires to create a sense of flow, while a butterfly-shaped secret watch conceals its dial beneath a gem-set wing and comes with a matching brooch.

Across the collection, the emphasis remains on movement, detail and transformation rather than static display.
