Airbus SE has informed some customers that deliveries of its A320neo family aircraft scheduled for 2027 and 2028 will be delayed by several months, according to a Bloomberg News report citing people familiar with the matter.
The report said the aircraft most affected are the A321neo jets, the longest and most popular variant of the A320 family.
Airbus has reportedly begun notifying affected customers of the revised delivery timelines, although the delays are expected to be limited to a few months.
The A321neo is a key model for airlines seeking fuel-efficient narrow-body aircraft and has been a major driver of Airbus’ commercial aircraft sales in recent years
