Bursa Malaysia said intraday short selling (IDSS) for Tanco Holdings Bhd (stock code: 2429) has been suspended for the remainder of Tuesday’s trading session after the stock breached Bursa’s price-limit threshold for short selling activity.
The exchange said the last done price of TANCO fell by more than 15% or 15 sen from the reference price.
Under Bursa’s IDSS rules, a breach of that threshold triggers an automatic suspension of short selling in the affected security for the rest of the trading day.
The suspension applies specifically to IDSS transactions; ordinary trading in TANCO shares may continue subject to normal market rules.
Bursa said IDSS for TANCO will be reactivated at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, provided the security remains eligible under the exchange’s short-selling framework.
