MSM Malaysia Holdings Berhad (MSM) has announced the dissolution of its Board Executive Committee, which was established earlier this year as part of the company’s governance structure.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MSM said the Board Executive Committee, formed on 1 January 2026, has been dissolved with effect from 18 June 2026.
The company referred to its earlier announcements dated 31 December 2025 regarding the establishment of the committee and a subsequent update issued on 11 May 2026.
MSM did not disclose further details on the reasons behind the dissolution or whether the responsibilities previously handled by the committee would be reassigned to other board structures.
The dissolution marks a change in the company’s board-level governance arrangement as MSM continues to focus on operational performance and strategic priorities within the sugar manufacturing and refining business.
MSM Malaysia Holdings is involved in the production, marketing and distribution of refined sugar products in Malaysia. The group operates through its subsidiaries, including MSM Prai Berhad and MSM Sugar Refinery (Johor) Sdn Bhd.
