His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, today received the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail at Bukit Tunku Palace, Kuala Lumpur.
The meeting was held with His Majesty, who also serves as the Honorary Commissioner of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), receiving a briefing on various matters related to the country’s security and public order.
During the audience, Tan Sri Mohd Khalid provided updates on current security developments and PDRM’s efforts in maintaining national stability and public safety.
His Majesty regularly receives briefings from key agencies as part of efforts to remain informed on national security matters and developments affecting the country.
The meeting is also timed before the upcoming state elections, with Johor, the state dear to the King, set to see a contentious bout between Barisan Nasional and the rest of the parties.
