Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) will introduce additional Electric Train Service (ETS) trips to the southern region to facilitate travel during the upcoming state elections.
The extra services will operate from July 10 to July 12 under the “Jom Balik Mengundi” initiative, aimed at helping voters return home to cast their ballots.
KTMB said tickets for the additional ETS services will go on sale today, June 19, starting from 12 noon.
The move is expected to ease travel demand during the election period and provide greater convenience for voters heading back to their hometowns.
Passengers are advised to secure their tickets early as demand is expected to be strong.
