RapidKL Unveils RM150 Unlimited Monthly Travel Pass Available Via TNG eWallet

Rapid KL has launched its new Rapid Bulanan digital pass, allowing commuters to purchase and activate the RM150 unlimited monthly travel pass directly through the Touch ‘n Go eWallet (TNG eWallet) app.

The initiative is part of Rapid KL’s ongoing efforts to digitalise public transport services and support Malaysia’s push towards a smarter, cashless mobility ecosystem.

With the new feature, users can now activate and renew their monthly passes via smartphone without having to queue at station counters, offering a faster and more seamless commuting experience.

The Rapid Bulanan pass provides unlimited travel for 30 consecutive days across the entire Rapid KL network, including LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT Sunway, Rapid KL buses and feeder bus services.

Unlike the government-subsidised My50 pass, which is exclusively available to Malaysian citizens, the Rapid Bulanan pass is open to both Malaysians and non-citizens, offering a more flexible and cost-effective option for frequent public transport users.

Priced at RM150 for 30 consecutive days, the pass is designed to help regular commuters reduce transportation costs while enjoying unlimited access to Rapid KL services.

To use the digital pass, commuters must have a smartphone that supports Near Field Communication (NFC) and update their TNG eWallet app to the latest version. Physical pass purchases at Rapid KL station counters will continue to be available for users who prefer conventional methods.

Rapid KL said the move is expected to improve accessibility to public transport, reduce reliance on physical counter transactions and encourage greater adoption of public transport for daily travel.

Prasarana said it will continue introducing digital innovations and service enhancements to deliver a more convenient, safe and user-friendly commuting experience while strengthening the country’s public transport system.
