LBS Bina Group Bhd announced that its Group Executive Chairman, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ir. (Dr.) Lim Hock San, has been conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award 2026 for Visionary Business Leadership and Community Excellence at the ASEAN Outstanding Business Award 2026 held in Kuala Lumpur.
The award recognises business leaders whose contributions extend beyond corporate success to drive social impact, strengthen communities and foster regional cooperation across ASEAN.
Widely regarded as one of Malaysia’s leading property entrepreneurs, Lim has guided LBS from a local construction company into a major township developer with interests spanning residential, commercial, industrial, retail and hospitality developments.
Under his leadership, the group has delivered more than 58,000 properties and helped establish communities that have benefited over 200,000 Malaysians. LBS said his focus on sustainable township development and long-term value creation has contributed significantly to nation-building efforts over the years.
Commenting on the recognition, Lim said the award reflected the collective efforts of the group’s employees, business partners, stakeholders and communities that had supported LBS throughout its journey.
“At LBS, we have always believed that development is more than constructing buildings; it is about creating opportunities, uplifting lives and fostering communities where people can thrive. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Malaysia’s growth and to the broader ASEAN community,” he said.
LBS said the award reinforces its commitment to carrying forward Lim’s vision of building sustainable communities while creating long-term value for stakeholders.
The group, which has more than three decades of experience in property development, continues to expand its presence through integrated township projects including Bandar Saujana Putra, KITA @ Cybersouth and LBS Alam Perdana, alongside developments such as Cameron Centrum.
