The First Look At Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Has Arrived

Fashion’s biggest runway moments aren’t always about what’s new—they’re often about who’s shaping the next chapter. For Dior, the Summer 2027 Men’s Show marked exactly that, introducing the first menswear collection under creative director Jonathan Anderson.

Rather than making a dramatic break from the past, Anderson’s debut focused on refining familiar ideas. Tailoring, proportions and classic silhouettes were reworked through subtle experimentation, reflecting his approach to evolving established forms instead of replacing them.

As Anderson put it, “The collection juxtaposes ideas and experiments with techniques and silhouettes, giving established forms a new character.”

That same balance between heritage and change extended beyond the clothes. The show was staged at Musée Nissim de Camondo, the former home of collector Moïse de Camondo, whose appreciation for 18th-century decorative arts mirrored one shared by Christian Dior.

Craftsmanship remained central throughout the collection. Dior highlighted hand-finished techniques that recreated the effects of age and wear, using traditional methods in unexpected ways to add texture and depth across garments and accessories. The emphasis was less on embellishment and more on how each piece was constructed. Taken together, the Summer 2027 Men’s Show served as a measured introduction to Anderson’s vision for Dior menswear.
