Hydrogen Malaysia (H₂Malaysia) has formalised its brand identity and strengthened governance and strategic alignment following its stakeholders’ meeting, marking a key step in advancing Malaysia’s coordinated hydrogen industry development.
The meeting agreed on the formalisation of the brand, alignment of strategic priorities and performance targets and enhanced governance structures to support industry coordination, policy engagement and investment facilitation across the hydrogen value chain.
H₂Malaysia currently comprises 44 member organisations and serves as the national platform for hydrogen industry development under NanoMalaysia Bhd (NMB), an agency under the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry.
President SEDC Energy (SEDCE) said the outcomes reflect stronger industry coordination and improved alignment to support Malaysia’s hydrogen ambitions, including policy implementation, technology deployment and investment facilitation.
The meeting also confirmed new Policy Committee leadership to further strengthen industry coordination.
