Favelle Favco Berhad has secured approximately RM504 million worth of new purchase orders for offshore and tower cranes, with the company attributing a significant portion of the contracts to investments in artificial intelligence (AI)-related infrastructure.
The crane manufacturer said its wholly owned subsidiary, Favelle Favco Cranes (M) Sdn Bhd, received the purchase orders and a letter of intent between May 29 and July 2.
The largest customers include Floating Production Solutions Sdn Bhd, Dialog E&C Sdn Bhd and South Korea-based Samsung C&T Corporation.
Under the contracts, Favelle Favco will supply offshore cranes to Floating Production Solutions and Dialog E&C, with both orders scheduled for delivery by the second quarter of 2027.
The company will also supply tower cranes to Samsung C&T, with deliveries to be carried out progressively from the end of 2026 through the second quarter of 2027.
Favelle Favco said the combined value of the contracts is approximately RM504 million.
The group noted that a significant share of the newly secured orders is linked to customers’ investments in AI-related infrastructure, reflecting rising demand for specialised lifting equipment used in the construction of data centres and other digital infrastructure projects.
