FKJ Returns to Malaysia For A Night Of Immersive Sound

Accomplished French multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer FKJ returns with his forthcoming third studio album ‘Tyber’, due for release this September, and an extensive headline tour across Asia, including Kuala Lumpur on 1 December at Zepp KL.

An artist whose work exists between timeless musicianship and experimentation, FKJ has built a singular musical world that blurs the worlds of jazz, soul, classical, hip-hop, funk, rock and electronic influences. As a result, his music continues to connect with a global audience drawn to both its technical intricacy and intimate atmosphere.

‘Soulmates’, his latest single, arrives as the first glimpse into ‘Tyber’ – a project that captures a period of personal and creative transformation following the release of his acclaimed album ‘V I N C E N T’. Written and recorded across multiple continents, the album
reflects years spent navigating movement, solitude, collaboration and renewal. Sessions took place in London, Los Angeles, Paris, Brazil
and Mexico, with each location subtly shaping the sonic identity of the record.

The result is FKJ at his most expansive and uninhibited. Across ‘Tyber’, groove-driven compositions sit alongside jazz-led instrumentals,
sample-heavy explorations and more direct songwriting moments, moving seamlessly through funk, alt-pop, R&B and psychedelic
textures without ever losing cohesion. The album feels both deeply personal and globally informed, spotlighting an artist documenting his
evolution in real time.

New single ‘Soulmates’ embodies that spirit. Warm, immersive and rhythmically fluid, the track highlights FKJ’s instinctive approach to
composition while offering a natural introduction to the wider world of ‘Tyber’. It is music rooted equally in technical musicianship and
emotional immediacy, which is a balance that has become central to his appeal.

The forthcoming album also features an expansive list of collaborators including Lucy Park, Baby Rose, Bas, Eryn Allen Kane and Labrinth,
further reflecting the breadth of influences and perspectives woven throughout the project.
