Waja Konsortium Berhad has applied to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad to be removed from its Guidance Note 3 (GN3) classification after completing its regularisation plan.
The ACE Market-listed company said the application to uplift its GN3 status was submitted on July 3, 2026. The application follows the completion of Waja’s regularisation plan, which the company announced on June 22, 2026.
TA Securities Holdings Berhad, acting on behalf of Waja, said the application marks the next step in the company’s efforts to exit the financially distressed classification.
Waja has been working towards restoring its financial position since being classified as a GN3 company, making a series of announcements over the past three years regarding its regularisation proposals and restructuring progress.
The company said the latest application was made after fulfilling the requirements under its regularisation plan.
