The Mid-Autumn Festival continues to evolve each year, and this year, preparation for the festival has been leaning towards thoughtful presentation and new flavour combinations, with hotels and luxury brands reimagining festival offerings.
Joining this year’s seasonal offerings is PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur, whose 2026 Mid-Autumn Collection reflects the growing demand for gift sets that combine familiar favourites with more contemporary flavours.
Available for collection from August 1 to September 30, 2026, the collection features handcrafted mooncakes presented in gift sets designed for family gatherings, festive exchanges and corporate gifting.
The collection begins with the Essence of Tradition set, priced at RM238 nett, which stays close to classic Mid-Autumn flavours. The selection includes Baked White Lotus with Single Yolk, Baked Pandan Lotus with Single Yolk, Baked Mixed Nuts and Baked Red Bean Paste, accompanied by premium Chinese tea.
For those looking for a more contemporary take, the Premium COLLECTION is priced at RM248 nett and introduces a broader range of flavour combinations. Alongside the traditional Baked White Lotus with Single Yolk, the set features Baked White Lotus Paste with Purple Sweet Potato, Baked Green Tea with Red Bean (Matcha Skin), and Baked Rose Flower with Rose Skin, paired with premium Chinese tea.
The evolution of Mid-Autumn gifting is also reflected in curated food and beverage pairings. PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur’s Sip & Savour Collection combines handcrafted mooncakes with premium beverages, including wine selections.
The set is available at RM628 nett for one gift box and RM688 nett for two gift boxes, featuring the Premium COLLECTION mooncakes alongside a choice of Moscato D’Asti DOCG or Kanonkop Kadette Cape Blend.
For a more elaborate gifting option, the Sip & Savour with Hennessy VSOP set is priced at RM988 nett. Corporate buyers can access additional privileges, with savings of 10% for purchases of over 20 boxes, 15% for over 50 boxes, and 25% for over 100 boxes.
