Vinvest Capital Holdings Bhd has been issued a Notice to Show Cause by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad after failing to appoint a sponsor within the stipulated timeframe under the ACE Market Listing Requirements, triggering the commencement of suspension and delisting procedures.
The company said it received the notice on July 10.
Bursa Securities noted that Vinvest had failed to regularise its financial condition after not appointing a sponsor within three months from its first affected issuer announcement made on April 8, 2026. The deadline for the appointment expired on July 8, 2026, and the company had not submitted any application for an extension of time.
As a result, Bursa has initiated the process that could lead to the suspension of trading in Vinvest’s securities and their eventual removal from the Official List of Bursa Securities.
The exchange has given Vinvest five market days, until July 17, 2026, to submit written representations.
