Widad Group Bhd announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Widad Builders Sdn Bhd (WBSB), has received a Letter of Demand (LOD) from Hikmat Duta Sdn Bhd (HDSB) in relation to an ongoing legal matter..
Widad said the subsidiary is currently engaged in discussions and negotiations with HDSB to explore a proposed settlement plan aimed at resolving the matter amicably.
The latest development is related to Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit and follows the company’s previous announcements dated Sept 18, 2025, Dec 1, 2025, and Jan 15, 2026.
Widad did not disclose details of the claims contained in the Letter of Demand or the proposed settlement terms.
