Dark clouds are gathering over parts of northern and southern Peninsular Malaysia, with thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds forecast to persist until 3pm today.
The latest weather warning covers parts of Kedah (Yan, Pendang, Kuala Muda, Sik, Baling, Kulim and Bandar Baharu), Penang, Perak (Kerian and Larut, Matang dan Selama), Pahang (Rompin), Selangor (Kuala Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat and Sepang), Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan (Seremban, Port Dickson, Rembau and Tampin), Melaka, and Johor (Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat and Kluang).
Residents in the affected areas are advised to remain vigilant for heavy downpours, flash floods in low-lying areas, reduced visibility and strong winds.
Motorists are urged to drive with extra caution, while those in flood-prone locations should monitor the latest weather updates.
