Sports fashion retailer JD Sports is marking its 10th anniversary in Malaysia with plans to expand its retail footprint and strengthen the country’s role as the company’s Southeast Asia hub.
Since opening its first flagship store at Sunway Pyramid in 2016, JD Sports has grown from an international retail newcomer into a leading destination for sneaker and athleisure enthusiasts, bringing together globally recognized brands, exclusive releases and immersive retail experiences for consumers nationwide. Now with 23 physical stores nationwide and an e-commerce platform with 3 new stores in the pipeline by the end of the year, JD Sports boasts a variety of the top sporting and athleisure brands like Nike, Adidas, New Balance, ON Running, Puma, ASICS and more.
To commemorate this milestone, JD Sports Malaysia will celebrate throughout 2026 with a year-long lineup of Only at JD Sports exclusive releases, consumer rewards and omnichannel activations. The anniversary celebrations officially kick off with JD Frequency, a five-day pop-up experience taking place from 22 to 26 July 2026 at Sunway Pyramid Mall, featuring exclusive product showcases, brand activations, consumer experiences and live performances by local and regional music talents.
Visitors can explore the ONLY AT JD Product Showcase, featuring exclusive JD Sports collections from the past, present and future, including limited-edition footwear, apparel and accessories. The celebration will also feature live performances by local and regional artists, bringing together the worlds of fashion, music and youth culture that continue to shape the JD Sports community:
