Passport service counters at 11 Immigration Department branches will be temporarily closed from July 31 to Aug 2, 2026, to facilitate system maintenance works.
The affected locations are Langkawi, Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kangar, Kuching, Lawas, Limbang, Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Lahad Datu and UTC Labuan.
During the closure, passport applications at service counters and through MyOnline Passport, as well as passport printing at the affected branches, will be unavailable.
The public is advised to plan passport-related matters in advance and refer to the Immigration Department’s official channels for further information.
