Duopharma Biotech Berhad has secured an extension of its supply contracts with the Ministry of Health (MOH), allowing three of its wholly owned subsidiaries to continue supplying pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products under the government’s Approved Products Purchase List until June 30, 2027.
The pharmaceutical company said its subsidiaries had each received notices of extension from Pharmaniaga Logistics Sdn. Bhd., the appointed logistics provider for the MOH procurement programme.
The extensions will take effect from Jan. 1, 2027, to June 30, 2027, or such other date as may be directed by the Government of Malaysia, whether earlier or later.
Under the extended arrangements, Duopharma will continue supplying 97 products, compared with 100 products covered under the existing contracts.
The company said DMSB would no longer supply one product during the extension period, while DMfgB would cease supplying two products. DHAPI’s product portfolio under the contract remains unchanged.
The original supply agreements, announced between April 2024 and April 2025, were initially scheduled to expire on Dec. 31, 2026.
