Dataprep Holdings Bhd has appointed corporate executive Rashwin Thind Gurmit Singh as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Director, effective Aug. 3, 2026.
The information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider said the appointment is part of its leadership transition as the company continues to strengthen its business and growth strategy.
Rashwin, 39, brings more than 15 years of leadership experience across multiple industries, including aviation, telecommunications, technology, sustainable resources and agri-technology.
According to Dataprep, he has built a strong track record in business development, regulatory turnaround initiatives and stakeholder management across Malaysia and the wider ASEAN region.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from Lincoln University College and a degree in Business (Marketing), majoring in Advertising, from APM Training Institute.
The company said Rashwin has no directorships in any other public companies or listed issuers, no family relationship with any director or major shareholder of Dataprep, and no conflicts of interest with the company. He also does not hold any shares in Dataprep or its subsidiaries.
Dataprep said Rashwin’s appointment takes effect immediately from Aug. 3, with the board expressing confidence that his broad cross-sector experience will support the group’s strategic objectives and future growth initiatives.
