KLCI Gains 0.19% On Midday As Natgate Leads Active Stocks

Bursa Malaysia continued to trade higher at midday on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBMKLCI) gaining 3.20 points or 0.19% to 1,728.93 as at 12:35 pm.

The index moved between an intraday low of 1,722.78 and a high of 1,730.62, reflecting a firmer performance across the broader market.

Other key indices also advanced. The FBM70 rose 80.72 points or 0.45% to 18,191.23, while the FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Index (F4GBM) gained 2.97 points or 0.29% to 1,037.31.

The FTSE Bursa Malaysia EMAS Index climbed 34.32 points or 0.27% to 12,786.74, while the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Hijrah Shariah Index increased 27.51 points or 0.22% to 12,584.87.

Natgate Solutions Bhd was the most actively traded counter, rising seven sen or 5.69% to RM1.30 with 298.53 million shares changing hands.

HHRG Bhd followed with 279.68 million shares traded, although its share price was unchanged at 11.5 sen. Zetrix AI Bhd was also active, gaining one sen to 73.5 sen on 263.24 million shares.

Velesto Energy Bhd traded 254.01 million shares at 25 sen, unchanged, while MR DIY Group (M) Bhd fell nine sen or 5.56% to RM1.53 on 219.67 million shares.

Among the top gainers, Malaysian Pacific Industries Bhd climbed RM1.38 to RM47.40, followed by Kumpulan Kitacon Bhd, which rose 33 sen to RM8.53.

Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd gained 26 sen to RM21.26, Petronas Dagangan Bhd added 24 sen to RM19.68 and UMS Integration Bhd rose 23 sen to RM7.69.

Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd was the biggest decliner, falling RM1.80 to RM100.90. Hong Leong Industries Bhd declined 16 sen to RM17.84, while United Plantations Bhd also shed 16 sen to RM34.04.

Gas Malaysia Bhd fell 11 sen to RM5.06 and Petronas Gas Bhd declined 10 sen to RM17.36.
