With Mid-Autumn Festival preparations underway, mooncake collections are arriving with a mix of traditional flavours and updated presentations. Mercure Kuala Lumpur Trion is joining this year’s festive offerings with its “Meet Autumn with Joy 2026” collection, featuring classic mooncake flavours in contemporary gift boxes.
Each set includes four handcrafted mooncakes, with options such as Golden Starlight with Single Yolk, White Lotus with Single Yolk, Red Bean Rose, and Assorted Fruits and Nuts. The selection includes familiar favourites alongside flavours that offer a different interpretation of the traditional mooncake.
The collection also emphasises packaging. The mooncakes are presented in structured vanity-style boxes with leather-textured finishes, available in forest green, burnt orange, burgundy and espresso brown. A limited trunk-style box is also available as an alternative gifting option.
Mooncake gifting has increasingly become about both taste and presentation, especially for corporate exchanges and festive gatherings. This year’s collection reflects that shift while keeping traditional flavours at its core.
Priced from RM238 per set, the collection is available ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival. An early bird offer of 10% off applies to orders placed by 15 August 2026.
