Tong Herr Resources Berhad’s shares were suspended from trading on Bursa Malaysia on Thursday pending the release of a material announcement by the company.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the fastener manufacturer said Bursa Securities had approved its request for a temporary suspension of trading in all its securities until 5.00 p.m. on Aug 6, 2026.
The company said the suspension was sought under subparagraph 3.1(b) of Practice Note 2 of Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market Listing Requirements, which allows listed companies to request a trading halt pending the release of price-sensitive information.
Tong Herr did not disclose the nature of the impending announcement or provide further details on the matter.
