TOYO TIRES Puts Malaysian Manufacturing At Heart Of New Brand Push

TOYO TIRES has unveiled a new brand manifesto centred on Malaysian manufacturing, Japanese engineering standards and making quality tyres more affordable to local motorists.

The “Buatan Malaysia, Keunggulan Jepun” manifesto highlights the company’s 100% Malaysian factory workforce while bringing Japanese technology and the kaizen philosophy of continuous improvement into its manufacturing operations in the country.

“We are the only tyre manufacturer in Malaysia combining the local craftsmanship with Japanese precision to achieve the premium-quality standards” said Mr Tan Song Chye, President and Managing Director of Toyo Tyre Sales and Marketing Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

The company said its Taiping factory is also progressing with its Intelligent Manufacturing Transformation (IMX) journey to build a smarter, more efficient and sustainable manufacturing ecosystem.

For TOYO TIRES, the future of mobility begins not only with technology, but with people empowered to use it well,” Mr Mike Toh, President and Managing Director of Toyo Tyre Malaysia, said.

Alongside the manifesto, TOYO TIRES introduced T-CARE for consumers and e-TEN for business partners. T-CARE users can receive up to RM40 Touch ’n Go eWallet cashback on their first app download while the company is also extending its tyre warranty to six years from the purchase date.

The company is also supporting three organisations through its Komuniti PRIHATIN TOYO initiative, including the Media Prima-NSTP Humanitarian Fund, MyKasih Foundation and Malaysian Association for the Blind.
