Vestland Berhad has announced a leadership restructuring with the appointment of two Joint Managing Directors, effective 7 August 2026, as the construction and infrastructure group strengthens its executive management team.
The company said Datuk Liew Foo Heen, 48, has been redesignated from Group Managing Director to Joint Managing Director.
At the same time, Dato’ Seri Soo Sze Ching, 50, has been redesignated from Executive Director to Joint Managing Director.
Both executives will serve as Executive Directors in their new capacities.
The appointments formalise a shared leadership structure, with the two executives jointly overseeing the group’s operations and strategic direction.
Vestland did not disclose the rationale behind the leadership restructuring or specify how responsibilities will be divided between the two Joint Managing Directors.
Datuk Liew previously served as Group Managing Director, while Dato’ Seri Soo was an Executive Director before assuming his expanded role.
The redesignations take effect immediately and do not involve any changes to the composition of the company’s board beyond the revised executive roles.
