Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is undergoing medical examinations and procedures prescribed by a team of medical specialists, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.
In a statement today, Senior Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Tunku Nashrul Abaidah said Anwar is expected to remain under monitoring for two days.
The statement did not disclose details on the nature of the medical examinations or procedures being undertaken by the Prime Minister.
It also called on Malaysians to pray for Anwar’s examinations and procedures to proceed smoothly and for him to be blessed with continued good health so that he can return to his duties as usual in the near future.
