Southern Score Builders Bhd has secured a RM105 million subcontract to undertake electrical works for a data centre project in Puncak Alam, Selangor.
The group said its 51%-owned subsidiary, SJEE Engineering Sdn Bhd (SJEE), had on Aug 12, 2026 accepted a letter of award from a local construction company for the subcontract works known as “Electrical Package #3 (MV02 & MV03)”.
The subcontract sum is RM105 million, excluding sales and service tax, if applicable.
According to Southern Score Builders, the project commenced on July 21, 2026 and is expected to be completed by Oct 14, 2027.
The latest award adds to the growing pipeline of electrical and engineering works associated with Malaysia’s rapidly expanding data centre infrastructure, particularly in Selangor.
Southern Score Builders said the acceptance of the letter of award would have no immediate impact on its share capital or shareholding structure, while there would also be no immediate effect on the group’s net assets per share or gearing.
