Infomina Bhd is acquiring a 51% stake in cybersecurity and digital trust solutions provider Blue Fortress Sdn Bhd (BFSB) for RM25.5 million as the technology company expands its enterprise technology ecosystem.
Infomina said its wholly-owned subsidiary, entered into a share sale agreement with the founders to acquire 102,000 ordinary shares in BFSB, representing a 51% equity interest.
BFSB specialises in cybersecurity and digital trust solutions, covering data protection, cryptography, identity management and information security technologies.
Infomina said the acquisition is aligned with its strategy of expanding its enterprise technology ecosystem by adding specialised cybersecurity and digital trust capabilities.
The new capabilities are expected to complement Infomina’s existing strengths in mission-critical infrastructure, digital transformation, data and artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled solutions.
