Celebrate Vietnam National Day & Golden Week with Regent Phu Quoc

Nestled on the white sands of Phu Quoc Island’s western coast, Regent Phu Quoc is one of Vietnam’s most celebrated luxury retreats, recognised by the MICHELIN 2025 Key List, and home to private pool villas, six world-class dining outlets, and a comprehensive spa and wellness sanctuary. This season, Regent Phu Quoc ushers in Vietnam National Day and Golden Week with an exciting lineup of chef collaborations, cultural showcases and unforgettable evenings by the sea. Highlights include a heritage feast led by Executive Sous Chef Huan Tran, a culinary collaboration with Regent Taipei, and a guest bar takeover by one of Hanoi’s most celebrated cocktail bars.

Running daily at Rice Market from 29 August to 2 September, The Soul of Sài Gòn offers an ode to the beloved Vietnamese classic Cơm Tấm. Evenings unfold with a series of celebratory dinners: on 29 August, Executive Sous Chef Huan Tran opens with Việt Nam, Served with Pride, a heartfelt celebration of Vietnam’s regional flavours — from slow-simmered broths to charcoal-grilled classics — complete with a local artist performance and calligraphy art. The celebration builds toward Vietnam National Day on 2 September, when Chef Huan and his team present The Spirit of Việt Nam, a feast of beloved regional dishes, live culinary theatre and music. The festivities at Rice Market close on 5 September with Harvests of the Floating Season, a refined family-style dining experience honouring the Mekong Delta’s floating season and the region’s freshwater fish, wild herbs and seasonal produce.

The celebration of seasonal abundance continues at Ocean Club, where Executive Chef Francesco Andreoni presents Postcards from the Mediterranean, journeying from the South of France to the Amalfi Coast, Greece and his native Italy. Guests can savour the sun-soaked flavours on 30 August and 1 September, from 6pm to 10pm, with a live duo band performance setting the mood.

The Regent Culinary Exchange presents “Where Lanterns Meet the Sea”, an exclusive collaboration between Regent Taipei and Regent Phu Quoc that brings Taiwan’s culinary traditions to Pearl Island. By day, guests can discover Folded by Hand, a showcase of dim sum from 5 to 11 October, and Taipei on the Table, an exclusive menu of Taiwan’s family-table classics from 1 to 4 October, both served at Rice Market. By night, a series of exclusive dinners come to life: A Feast of Traditions, a heritage banquet by the chefs of both properties, opens the week on 1 October; By Lantern Light, a night-market-inspired celebration of Taiwan and Phu Quoc, follows on 3 October; and The Sea Between Us, The Table Before Us brings Chef Alan Tsai of Regent Taipei and Chef Huan Tran together for a special four-hands dinner on 2 and 4 October.

Cocktail artistry gets its own moment in the spotlight with An Evening of Hanoi’s Finest Mixology Under the Island Stars, as Hanoi’s acclaimed cocktail bar The Haflington takes over Bar Jade for two nights of The Jungle Book-inspired mixology, on 2 and 3 October from 7pm to 1am. Over at Ocean Club, dive into Coast to Coast, a celebration of Mediterranean cuisine set against live cooking theatre and stunning evening views, on 4 and 11 October. And on a distinctly Vietnamese note, From the Red River to the Mekong takes guests on a journey through the country’s regional cuisines from North to South, accompanied by a live calligraphy performance, at Rice Market on 6 and 10 October.
