Fiamma Holdings Bhd saw profit attributable to owners of the company (PATAMI) plunge 46.3% to RM26.9 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026 (1H26), from RM50.1 million a year earlier, even as group revenue climbed 22.2% to RM221.61 million.

The weaker first-half bottom line contrasted with a stronger second quarter, where PATAMI rose 15.9% year-on-year to RM16.2 million from RM14 million. Revenue for 2Q26 jumped 41.5% to RM117.2 million from RM82.8 million, while basic earnings per share increased to 3.05 sen from 2.63 sen.

All three operating segments recorded revenue growth in the first half, led by Trading & Services, which remained Fiamma’s largest contributor with RM175.2 million, accounting for about 79.1% of group revenue. The segment’s revenue rose 13.5% year-on-year, supported by demand across its home, lifestyle and healthcare portfolio.

Fiamma is also expanding into higher-growth categories including smart and energy-efficient appliances, cleaning solutions, air-conditioning and healthcare devices.

Meanwhile, its Property Development segment delivered stronger momentum, with revenue surging 77.8% to RM43.7 million, driven by accelerated revenue recognition from its Johor Bahru mixed development.

Group Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Tan Chee Wee said the second quarter reflected improving momentum across the businesses, with Trading & Services continuing to provide a stable operating base.

He added that Fiamma would remain focused on sustainable growth, stronger execution and building a more resilient earnings base over the long term.
