APB Resources Berhad’s Independent Non-Executive Chairman Dato’ Mior Faridalathrash Wahid has resigned from his position, effective Aug 26, 2026, citing personal reasons and other commitments. He was appointed to the group on August 29, 2025.
Mior Faridalathrash, 64, has 40 years of experience in the Royal Malaysia Police, where he held various positions involving crime prevention, criminal investigation and the criminal justice system.
During his police career, he served as Deputy Director of Criminal Investigation (Legal & Prosecution) at Bukit Aman, Chief Police Officer of Perak and the head of several police districts.
APB Resources said his extensive experience included criminal investigation and prosecution, as well as areas relating to criminology, supply chains in crime and the criminal justice system.
He was also involved in professional development initiatives and local and international training and networking programmes, with experience in working with various stakeholders in the policing and legal sectors.
Prior to joining APB Resources, Mior Faridalathrash served as Executive Director of Classita Holding Berhad, where he was responsible for the company’s strategic direction, operational management and financial performance.
He is currently an Advocate & Solicitor at Mior Faridalathrash & Associate in Ipoh, Perak.
