BLACKPINK’s solo releases are arriving in quick succession. Just days after JENNIE announced her upcoming EP, LISA and JISOO have both confirmed new projects, with their announcements landing only hours apart.
JISOO shared a teaser on Aug 24 for “Click”, which is set for release on Sept 4. The video uses a dark carnival setting, with glitching animal figures and the word “Click” appearing on screen.
LISA followed with the announcement of Press Play, due on Oct 23. She also confirmed that its first single, “SaWaDiKa”, will arrive on Sept 3.
The announcements come after BLACKPINK reunited for a global stadium tour and released the Deadline EP in February. The project debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200.
According to Billboard, the four members have continued their solo work alongside BLACKPINK. ROSÉ, LISA and JENNIE have released solo albums, while JISOO put out the EP Amortage.
JENNIE will be the first to release new solo music this time around. Her three-track EP Fallen Angel is scheduled for Aug 28, featuring “FALLEN ANGEL”, “HEAVEN” and “Less Than a Lover”.
JISOO has also previously discussed plans for her first full-length solo album. She said earlier this year that she wanted to explore a wider range of music.
For LISA, Press Play follows her 2025 debut solo album Alter Ego. Reports earlier this year indicated that she had been working on a second album.
With three BLACKPINK members now preparing new releases within weeks of each other, the group’s individual projects are once again taking the spotlight while the quartet continues its group activities.
