Betamek Bhd will pay a final single-tier dividend of 1.25 sen per share on Oct 12, 2026, for the financial year ended March 31, 2026 (FY26), with entitlement based on shareholders whose names appear in the Record of Depositors on Oct 1.
The dividend was approved by shareholders at Betamek’s fifth AGM held, where the attendees passed all resolutions tabled.
Among the resolutions passed were the re-election of Muhammad Fauzi Abd Ghani and Mirzan Mahathir as directors, as well as the re-appointment of Grant Thornton Malaysia PLT as the company’s auditors.
The AGM also approved fees of up to RM300,000 and benefits of up to RM20,000 for non-executive directors for the period from Aug 28, 2026, until the company’s next AGM.
In addition, shareholders renewed the board’s authority to allot shares representing up to 10% of the company’s total issued shares, together with a waiver of statutory pre-emptive rights.
Betamek also secured shareholder approval for a proposed share buyback mandate allowing the company to purchase up to 10% of its total issued shares, subject to applicable laws and Bursa Malaysia’s ACE Market Listing Requirements.
