Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Berhad has announced its second quarter financial results for the three months ended 30 June with revenue rising 12% to RM4.69 billion, as compared to RM4.19 billion in the corresponding quarter of the preceding year, driven primarily by higher realised metal prices.
Despite a lower contribution from associate companies, profit after tax and minority interest increased 66% to RM801.0 million. The increase in PATAMI was also supported by a RM115.42 million gain arising from the dilution of the Group’s investment in an associate company. Excluding this one-off gain, core PATAMI for 2Q FY2026 stood at RM685.58 million, which represents a 42% year-on- year growth.
The group declared an interim dividend of 2.5 sen per share, payable on 29 September 2026.
