Malaysia Debt Ventures Bhd (MDV) has secured dual certification for its anti-bribery and whistleblowing management systems, becoming the first business organisation to receive both credentials simultaneously from ABAC Centre of Excellence Sdn Bhd.
The certifications comprise ISO 37001:2025 for MDV’s Anti-Bribery Management System and an ISO 37002:2021 Certificate of Compliance for its Whistleblowing Management System.
MDV Chief Executive Officer Rizal Fauzi said the certifications reflect the strength of the group’s controls, processes and whistleblower protection framework, while reinforcing its commitment to accountability, integrity and transparency.
The dual recognition follows coordinated efforts across MDV to assess bribery risks, strengthen policies and controls, and roll out targeted training and awareness initiatives.
It also forms part of MDV’s broader governance agenda, which includes its Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan 2026-2030 and Three Lines of Defence model.
Going forward, MDV said it will assess other relevant ISO standards and pursue further certifications where appropriate to strengthen its processes and organisational capabilities.
