Huda Beauty and Cardi B are putting a new spin on the Easy Bake franchise. The pair have teamed up for Ultra Snatched, a collection of pink and lilac setting powders meant to brighten, lift, and blur the complexion.
The launch expands Huda Beauty’s existing Easy Bake range with new shades across its Easy Bake Loose Setting Powder Duos and Easy Bake Pressed Powders.
The collection includes four shades: Cherry Blossom Cake, Lilac Muffin, Pink Velvet Cookie and Ube Birthday Cake. The loose powder duos come in two colour combinations, Cherry Lilac and Pink Ube, while the pressed powders focus on brightening.
The colour choices are central to the collection. Pink is intended to brighten the skin, while lilac is used to create a lifted appearance. The powders are also designed to reduce shine and soften the look of skin texture.
According to Huda Beauty, the loose setting powder duos provide up to 18 hours of wear without flashback. The pressed powders are designed to offer up to 12 hours of shine control. The brand suggests using the products together to build the full effect.
The collaboration also extends to the campaign. In “Snatched Baddies,” Kattan and Cardi B swap bodies in a storyline that plays on the premise of Freaky Friday. The campaign reflects the more playful side of the partnership while keeping the focus on the new collection.
Harper’s Bazaar reported on the launch, noting that Ultra Snatched builds on Easy Bake’s existing focus on setting and brightening rather than introducing a new product category.
The collection is priced at US$39 to US$40 and is available through Huda Beauty.
