QES Group Bhd is acquiring two office units in Singapore for S$5.47 million (approximately RM17.49 million) as the semiconductor equipment and engineering solutions group prepares for anticipated business growth and further product and market expansion.
The group said its indirect subsidiary, QES (Singapore) Pte Ltd (QSG), entered into a sale and purchase agreement with JVA Nir Pte Ltd on Sept 8, 2026 for the proposed acquisition.
The properties comprise two office units located at 21 New Industrial Road, #05-04 and #05-05, Space Nova, Singapore.
QSG is a subsidiary of QES (Asia-Pacific) Sdn Bhd, which is in turn an indirect subsidiary of QES Group.
The company said the acquisition is intended to provide additional operating space as it anticipates strong business growth arising from its product and market expansion initiatives in the coming years.
QES said it is preparing ahead to prevent potential operational bottlenecks arising from insufficient physical space.
The additional premises are also expected to address limitations in the space currently available for product demonstration facilities and customer visits.
The proposed acquisition is valued at S$5.47 million, equivalent to approximately RM17.49 million based on the prevailing exchange rate stated in the announcement.
