George Kent To Roll Out Agentic AI Solutions In Malaysia, Singapore

George Kent (Malaysia) Bhd has entered into a strategic collaboration with Hong Kong-listed Shandong Extreme Vision Technology Co Ltd to market and deploy artificial intelligence (AI) solutions in Malaysia and Singapore.

The agreement, signed through George Kent’s wholly owned subsidiary GK SuperTech Sdn Bhd, sets out the terms for the commercial deployment of Extreme Vision’s AI technologies and regional market expansion.

Under the collaboration, GK SuperTech is expected to secure exclusive rights to rebrand, market, distribute and sell Extreme Vision’s AI algorithms and large models in Malaysia and Singapore. The two companies also plan to pursue enterprise AI projects and opportunities elsewhere in ASEAN.

Extreme Vision develops computer vision algorithms and large models for applications including manufacturing, industrial automation, infrastructure monitoring, smart city systems and public safety.

As part of the arrangement, George Kent plans to implement Vision AI at its manufacturing plant in Puchong. The facility will be used as a pilot site to test the technology in an industrial setting.

George Kent executive chairman Tan Sri Tan Kay Hock said the collaboration provides GK SuperTech with a route to introduce AI solutions in Malaysia and Singapore while exploring further regional opportunities.
