EWI Capital Bhd said its Chief Financial Officer Andy Leong Chain Hong will retire from the company effective Dec 31, 2026.
Leong, 56, was appointed CFO of the group, formerly known as Eco World International Bhd, on July 1, 2022.
In his role, he oversees the group’s financial and corporate functions, including financial reporting, corporate finance, treasury, investor relations and risk management.
Leong has more than 25 years of experience across private and public-listed companies in sectors including property, construction, manufacturing, hospitality and plantations.
Before joining EWI Capital, he had served as CFO at several companies, including GuocoLand (Malaysia) Bhd, SkyWorld Development Group, TAHPS Group Bhd — now known as Ayer Holdings Bhd — and Mahajaya Bhd.
The company did not disclose a successor in the announcement.
