Lim Seong Hai Capital Bhd has announced the resignation of its non-independent executive director Lim Keng Hun, effective Sept 18, 2026, as he shifts his focus towards overseeing and managing the operations of Knight Auto Sdn Bhd.

The company said Lim, 59, stepped down to devote more time and attention to Knight Auto’s business and operations.

Lim confirmed that he had no disagreement with Lim Seong Hai Capital’s board of directors and that there were no matters arising from his resignation that needed to be brought to shareholders’ attention.

He is the sibling of company directors Tan Sri Datuk Seri Lim Keng Cheng, Datuk Lim Keng Guan and Lim Pak Lian, and the uncle of director Lim Ding Shyong.

Lim Keng Hun and his three siblings are also major shareholders of the company through their direct interests in Lim Seong Hai Holdings Sdn Bhd.

Following his resignation, Lim retains a direct interest of 14.96 million ordinary shares in Lim Seong Hai Capital.

He also has a deemed indirect interest in 498.04 million shares held by Lim Seong Hai Resources Sdn Bhd through his interest in Lim Seong Hai Holdings.

The company disclosed that, apart from previously reported recurrent related-party transactions and conflicts of interest detailed in its prospectus, Lim had no other conflict or potential conflict of interest with the group.

The recurrent related-party transactions were approved by shareholders at the company’s fifth annual general meeting on Feb 26, 2026.
