Powerwell Holdings Berhad’s announced that it had received two purchase orders with a combined value of RM190.4 million for the supply and delivery of low voltage switchgear and other related equipment in connection with a data centre project in Johor.
The POs it added are expected contribute positively to the Group from the current financial year ending 31 March 2027 (FY27) until financial year ending 31 March 2028 (FY28).
Together, the POs represent the largest award in Powerwell’s history, and also underscore the accelerating pace of data centre development across the region, which continues to fuel robust demand for resilient and reliable power distribution infrastructure.
Coming from a returning customer, the POs it said reflect the confidence placed in the company’s ability to deliver on complex, large-scale requirements, backed by its proven track record and in-house technical depth.
The wins bolster Powerwell’s order book, which stood at a healthy RM268.9 million as at end-June 2026, excluding the POs. Concurrently, the Group’s tender pipeline remains exciting, with opportunities spanning the data centre, renewable energy, semiconductor, and infrastructure sectors.
