Donatella Versace Starts Her Next Chapter With A New Brand

Donatella Versace is launching a new brand with Revolve, marking her first major business venture since leaving Versace in March 2025.

The designer will lead the new company as chief creative officer, overseeing its creative direction, products, partnerships and brand identity. Revolve will handle areas including e-commerce, technology, operations, marketing and consumer insights.

The new label does not yet have a name. Its first launch will focus on beauty, with more details expected in the coming months.

Donatella left her position as Versace’s creative director after nearly 28 years with the fashion house. She was succeeded by Dario Vitale, while Donatella took on the role of chief brand ambassador.

The new partnership puts Donatella in charge of building a brand from the ground up. According to Fashion Network, the venture will combine her creative direction with Revolve’s business and digital infrastructure.

Donatella said the new venture will allow her to work across beauty and fashion and develop a new connection with younger consumers.

Revolve co-founder and co-CEO Mike Karanikolas said the company would provide the technology, infrastructure and global reach behind the new business.

For now, the focus is on beauty. The brand name, creative direction and first products are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
