Budget 2027 Allocates RM1.26 Billion To Strengthen FELDA, Support Settlers

The government has allocated RM1.26 billion for 2027 to strengthen the financial position of the Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) and improve settlers’ welfare, including road maintenance and housing for the next generation of settlers, TV3 reported.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced the allocation when tabling Budget 2027 in the Dewan Rakyat today.

He said the funding would support FELDA’s financial position, road maintenance and housing development for the next generation of settlers.

Anwar added that 109,000 settlers now hold land titles, while average monthly net income among settlers had risen from RM2,272 in 2023 to RM3,800 this year.

He also said the delisting of FGV Holdings Bhd had helped strengthen FELDA’s financial position.

The allocation is intended to ensure FELDA remains financially capable of safeguarding the interests and welfare of its settler community.
