PLUS Malaysia Berhad said it will temporarily close the road shoulder after the exit at the Bangi Toll Plaza (towards Bandar Baru Bangi) to facilitate road widening works at the location. The road widening works are expected to take approximately eight (8) months and are scheduled to commence on 9 October 2026 and be completed by 28 June 2027.
Throughout the duration of the works, highway customers travelling through the toll plaza are advised to reduce their speed, adhere to all safety signage and speed limits within the wor area, and follow the instructions of personnel on-site.
However, any lane closures required to facilitate the widening works will only be implemented during off-peak hours, between 10:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m., to minimise disruption to traffic flow at the location.
