The government will provide special financial assistance of RM1,500 to 1.3 million civil servants in Grade Utama B and below, including contract staff, under Budget 2027.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said more than one million government pensioners, including retired and non-pensionable veterans, would receive RM750 each.
The payments will be made in two instalments, before Hari Raya Aidilfitri and in conjunction with the 70th anniversary of Merdeka.
