Quick Ride-Uber-Proton Collaboration to Improve e-Hailing Drivers

The collaboration between Quick Ride, Uber and Proton takes another step forward in conducting a comprehensive induction programme, which will be the first of its kind ever done in Malaysia. The three renowned organisations successfully held the inaugural induction course by the joint effort of the respective partners for the first badge of Uber drivers under the Quick Ride scheme.

Dato’ Ilyas Mohamed, Executive Chairman of Koperasi Amanah Pelaburan Berhad (KAPB) and Chairman of Quick Ride Sdn Bhd explains: “The Quick Ride-Uber-Proton collaboration will organise these kind of intensive induction courses for every badge of drivers. The drivers will be called up from time to time for a refresher course, to make sure that the best services are being given to customers and passengers.”

The programme is a great advantage as the participants will be absorbed into an elaborate system, to be trained on various aspects such as dress code, mannerisms, soft skills, use of technology systems related to the car, emergency response actions and handling of the designated Proton cars.

The added unique factor of Quick Ride-Uber cars include the interactive tablet for their e-hailing passengers, with the drivers being fully equipped with all the necessary answers and solutions for the passengers, for better comfort and convenience.
