Dato’ Ng Wan Peng who was the Chief Operating Officer at MDEC until recently, has joined Iris Corporation Berhad as the group’s Independent Director.
Dato Ng has been with the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation for a number of years and is known to be a competent leader and highly motivated professional with more than 30 successful years in the corporate and GIC environment. She is regarded as a results-driven approach to planning and implementing comprehensive strategies in support of business goals and objectives.
She currently serves as the President of Big Bad Wolf Ventures Sdn Bhd, as for her role in Iris, it will include leading and driving the Group’s technology and digital transformation to achieve the group’s business expansion. Provide advice to business units to ensure all initiatives/programs planned and executed are aligned to the group’s strategic goals.
Apart from Iris, Dato Ng is also at Securemetric Berhad as Independent and Non-Executive, Hong Leong Assurance Berhad as Independent and Non Executive Director and Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd as Independent and Non-Executive Director
