Tabin Wildlife Reserve is home to various endangered wildlife such as the Borneo Pygmy elephants, Tembadau and exotic birdlife. A unique feature of Tabin is its football field-sized mud volcano, a 20 minutes’ trek through the jungle. This mud volcano serves as a mineral salt lick hence attracting a range of wildlife to this area. An observation tower is available for visitors to spot for wildlife near the mud volcano.
