Straits Energy Secures RM71.6 Million Job For JKR Project

Straits Energy Resources Berhad (Straits Energy) announced that Straits CommNet Solutions Sdn Bhd (SCS), an indirect subsidiary of the Company, has secured a contract worth RM71.56 million from Teras Khidmat Niaga Sdn Bhd (Teras).

Teras is a the main contractor for the project, which involves the construction of engineering centers and laboratories and will contribute to the development at University Malaysia Perlis.

“Under this contract, SCS will supply resources, equipment, transport, machineries and tools to carry out specified works for completing the project,” it said in a statement today,

Teras is Malaysian heavy and civil engineering construction company, which carry out works as part of a project for Jabatan Kerja Raya Malaysia (JKR)

The project is expected to start on October 17, 2023, with completion slated for September 4, 2025.

SCS is a 70% owned subsidiary of Straits Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd, while Straits Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd is a 75% owned subsidiary of Straits.
